-=Road Trip :: MIRI-KLIA-PENANG-SG PETANI=-

14-21 November 2009 yang lepas, satu road trip telah berjaya diadakan. Bermula pada 14 Nov aku dari KLIA ke MIRI. Then keesokan hari 15 Nov dari MIRI ke KLIA bersama wife and Gerradina. Berikut adalah reaksi Gerradina setibanya di KLIA :

"penat la, jom makan mcd", ujar Gerradina kepada mamanya.

Gerradina buat muka kesian supaya boleh gi makan kat mcd.

dan kemudiannya buat muka kesian lagi ala-ala flintstone.

"yey, dapat makan ice-cream", Gerrdina terlompat melihatkan ice-cream mcd.

Lepas KLIA, amik plak flight dari KLIA ke PENANG. Dari PENANG, bergerak ke SUNGAI PETANI, KEDAH by road. Berikut reaksi Gerradina di Sg Petani.

"Kalau guna taktik 4-4-2 diamond baru leh menang", ujar Gerradina yang serius membincangkan isu bola sepak semasa.

"Yeah, u're brilliant!", Gerradina mendapat ciuman penghargaan atas idea bernasnya tadi.

"Papa, bila nak kluar hang-out?' ujar Gerradina kepada papanya semasa di rumah.

"Yey, kluar jenjalan", Gerradina girang mengetahui akan keluar berjalan-jalan.

"Waiter, ice-cream ada?" tanya Gerradina kepada waiter di Old Town White Coffee, New Tesco, Sg Petani.

"Wah, banyak makanan menarik ni", Gerradina excited melihat menu.

"Okeh, masa untuk makan", Gerradina mengenepikan menu.

"Bole cepat sikit dak? Kebuloq dah ni", gesa Gerradina dalam loghat Kedah.

"Yey makanan dah nak sampai", Gerradina gembira sambil menggoyangkan menu.

"Kalau tapau bawak balik ok gak ni", kata Gerradina kepada mamanya.

"Bagi saya Ipoh Iced White Coffee satu!", pesan Gerradina kepada waiter.

"Em, kasi bihun tom yam untuk mama saya", Gerradina memesan lagi.

"Apa, ice-cream takde?" ujar Gerradina agak terkejut.

"Em, bagi kopi panas and popia goreng untuk nenek saya", Gerradina memesan lagi sambil menunjukkan kepada menu.

"Apalah, ice-cream pun takdak, cikai betul, hahaha!" Gerradina tertawa sambil berkata kepada neneknya.

"Papa, bila next Liverpool game?" Gerrardina sempat bertanya kepada papanya.

"Sayang nenek!" kata Gerradina kepada neneknya yang baru diketemui selepas 11 bulan lahir ke dunia....

Pada 19 Nov, bergerak menaiki flight dari PENANG ke KLIA. Selepas itu, bergerak dari KLIA ke MIRI. Berikut adalah reaksi Gerradina di KLIA.

"Ready for boarding!" kata Gerradina kepada pramugari di KLIA.

Pada 21 Nov pulak amik flight balik dari MIRI ke KLIA. Then balik Melaka. 22 Nov ada Istiadat Anugerah Pingat Sesi-3. Angkat Bantal lagi.....

p/s : 6 kali naik flight dalam masa 7 hari membuatkan saya demam...

Tahun 2009 adalah tahun pertama meraikan hari raya bersama Gerradina. Sekarang dah masuk 9 bulan. Kalau ikutkan tahun ini beraya di Sungai Petani, Kedah. Tapi atas sebab penyakit H1N1 yang melanda sekarang ni, tak dapat la nak bawak Gerradina balik Kedah. So raya di Miri, Sarawak lagi tahun ini...

Veteran defender Sami Hyypia is firmly established as a Liverpool legend after nearly a decade of unblemished service.

The towering Finn's consistent performances through the Houllier and Benitez eras earned him a place among Europe's top centre-backs - and he's undoubtedly one of the finest ever to ply their trade at Anfield.

Hyypia's contribution to the British game has not gone unnoticed in his homeland, where he's been crowned footballer of the year seven times (1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2008).

It's hard to believe he cost Liverpool just £2.5million from Dutch outfit Willem II back in May 1999.

By that stage Hyypia already had seven years as a professional behind him. His glittering career began with MyPa, where he spent three years and won two Finnish Cups.

An international debut arrived aged 19 against Tunisia in November 1992. Sixteen years on, he's well on the way to 100 caps.

In 1995 Hyypia enjoyed a trial at Kevin Keegan's Newcastle, but it'd be another four years before he would grace the Premiership.

Instead he joined Dutch side Willem II, where he was soon installed as captain.

The big man's final act before heading to Merseyside in 1999 was to help Willem secure Champions League qualification.

After making his Reds debut against Sheffield Wednesday on August 7, 1999, Hyypia quickly formed a watertight partnership with Stephane Henchoz, providing the foundation for a historic treble in 2000-01.

The centre-half wore the captain's armband through much of this momentous campaign in the absence of the injured Jamie Redknapp. He jointly lifted both the UEFA and FA Cups.

Following the departure of Redknapp in April 2002, Gerard Houllier handed his trusty defender the captaincy on a permanent basis, though he'd be replaced by the emerging Steven Gerrard in October 2003.

With the arrival of new boss Rafa Benitez in 2004 came numerous personnel changes, though it was clear Hyypia was going nowhere.

However, he did have a new central-defensive partner in Jamie Carragher, who was at last given a regular slot in his preferred position. Within 12 months they were regarded as one of the most formidable pairings on the continent following Liverpool's Champions League triumph in the Ataturk.

Hyypia scored one of the most memorable goals en route to Istanbul, an unstoppable volley to open the scoring against Juve in the quarter-finals.

Incredibly, he played every minute of 57 consecutive European games for the Reds from November 2001 to February 2006.

The arrival of young centre-halves Daniel Agger and Martin Skrtel provided competition for places as Hyypia entered his twilight but, despite sometimes missing out, he continued to climb the club's all-time appearance table. In December 2008 he overtook Ron Yeats to enter the top 20.

Five months later the big Finn announced the 2008-09 season would be his last at Anfield after agreeing a two-year deal with German side Bayer Leverkusen.

History will undoubtedly judge Hyypia to be one of the club's shrewdest pieces of business. His collection of winner's medals is in double figures and in 2006 fans voted him 38th in Liverpoolfc.tv's 100 Players Who Shook The Kop series.

"Gooollllllll!!!", baby menjerit lagi meraikan gol kedua Liverpool selepas Gerrard menyudahkan tendangan penaltinya yang berjaya diselamatkan terlebih dahulu. West Ham 0-2 Liverpool.

"Babel the super sub!", baby menghamburkan pujian selepas Babel menjaringkan gol ketiga. West Ham 0-3 Liverpool.

"Man U kena dapat 7 points dari 3 match pasni. Kalau tak baru Liverpool ada peluang", baby mencongak percaturan dari segi mathematical dalam usaha perebutan gelaran EPL musim ini.

"Tunggu la nasib ko WBA", baby menutup mulut menahan ketawa kecil merenung perlawanan akan datang minggu depan.

"halamak...penalty la plak...giler lembik j.s park tu...sket punya hal pun nak jatuh", ujar baby dengan penuh hampa sambil mengayunkan tangannya tanda protes. Man U 1-0 Liverpool.

"yes! that's the equaliser! come on reds!", jerit baby sambil mengangkat tangannya tanda gembira sejurus selepas torres menjaringkan gol penyamaan hasil kesengalan 'vidic' yang tak tahu nak 'predict' bola yang datang. Man U 1-1 Liverpool.

"yes! penalty!", ujar baby dalam keadaan agak tergamam melihat gerrard dijatuhkan ke dalam kotak penalti...gerrard menjaringkan penalti dengan selamba. Man U 1-2 Liverpool.

"gooolllllll!!!!!!", baby melompat kegembiraan walaupun sedar dirinya belum boleh berjalan selepas fabio aurelio menjaringkan gol melalui sepakan percuma yang mengangakan van der sar. Man U 1-3 Liverpool.

"laa...goal lagi?", rengek baby yang telah dalam keadaan mengantuk selepas dossena menjaringkan gol menewaskan van der sar yang sekadar melihat bola melintasi kepalanya.baby kemudiaannya terus tidur kerana telah busan melihat permainan man u yang langsung tidak melawan. ][New Year, New Job, New Hope][

Dah nak masuk 1 bulan tahun 2009. Raya cina pun dah lepas. Lupa plak nak bagitau yang starting this year, I am no longer worked as Special Officer to Melaka's State Secretary. Skrg ni dah masuk Unit Protokol dan Istiadat and jadi bos kecik kat sini. Well, keja lama ngan keja baru ni ada satu persamaan iaitu...sibuk sepanjang masa! haha...

Anyhow, selepas almost 2 years serving as Special Officer to 2 State Secretary, it's time to move on. Cari pengalaman baru. Dulu dah bekerja under previous SUK yang skrg di dah jadi KSU di sebuah ministry. And sempat bekerja dgn current SUK. Nanti dah lama kat sini, keja kat negeri lain plak...then negara lain...then dunia lain...huhu....

Finally, hopefully tahun ini akan lebih baik dari tahun lepas-lepas. And dengan adanya my wife and our nur gerrardina, hopefully our lives will be much better and easier...Lastly, hope this year I will get back semua hak-hak that's belong to me yang dah lama tunggu tapi belum dapat2... =)

Last Sunday (21st Disember 2008) was my 1st anniversary. Sadly, we are not together on that day. My wife still in Miri with my new born babygirl, Nur Gerrardina. Me? Still in Melaka. Workin and buzy as usual. Gladly we had our baby 2 weeks (14 days) before the anniversary. So I thought that was the best ever gift to us for our anniversary this year. I'll back to Miri this coming January. To my Gerradina, "nanti papa beli jersey liverpool utk baby k =)".

Seorang wartawan lelaki telah ditugaskan membuat liputan dan siasatan mengenai aktiviti kelab gay di Bukit Bintang. Dia dikehendaki menyamar sebagai gay. Wartawan itu dengan senang hati menggayakan pakaian dan cara seorang gay. Setelah seminggu mempelajari tingkahlaku dan gaya seorang gay, akhirnya pada malam minggu itu wartawan itu masuk ke kelab gay tersebut. 

Wartawan itu dipasang dengan microphone n camera bersaiz kecil bagi merakam segala aksi dan aktiviti di kelab gay tersebut. Setelah masuk wartawan itu terus menuju ke bar utama dan memesan segelas bir. Dia hanya duduk sambil memerhatikan gelagat-gelagat gay di kelab tersebut. Ada yang menari dan ada yang duduk sambil berpeluk-pelukan sesama lelaki. Wartawan itu merasa geli geleman melihat tingkahlaku mereka.

"Hai...sorang ke bro", tiba-tiba wartawan itu di sapa.

"A'ah, saya tunggu kawan saya. Tak sampai-sampai lagi ni", kata wartawan itu separuh menjerit kerana kebingitan muzik di kelab itu.

Tiba-tiba wartawan itu berasa sakit perut. Rasa seperti ingin kentut sahaja. 

"Muzik tengah kuat ni bolehlah aku kentut ni", bisik hati wartawan itu.

Wartawan itu pun melepaskan kentutnya. Satu demi satu. Berturut-turutan. Tiba-tiba muzik rancak itu berhenti kerana DJ nya ingin menukar ke lagu perlahan. Sementara proses pertukaran lagu itu kentut wartawan itu telah di dengari oleh gay-gay yg berhampiran dengan wartawan itu.

"Eh eh... ada dara lagi la kat sini", ujar salah seorang gay di situ sambil memandang wartawan itu.

"A'ah lah... kat depan kita ada dara", ujar yang lain pula.

Semua gay di situ telah pergi mendapatkan wartawan itu. Semua wajah mereka menunjukkan keghairahan nafsu yang ketara.

"Saya bukan dara lagi la", ujar wartawan itu.

"Kalau dah tak dara kenapa kentut. Kuat lak tu. Sempit tuu...", ujar salah seorang gay itu.

Tergamam wartawan itu. Akhirnya dirinya di noda secara bergilir-gilir oleh pengunjung kelab gay itu. Menangis teresak-esak wartawan itu. Akhirnya nikmat kentut sudah tidak akan dapat dirasai lagi sepanjang hidupnya.

Moral kepada lelaki : Jangan kentut dihadapan GAY. AWAS!!

Throughout history, humans have always been prone to accidents. Some, such as the exotic car crashes seen on this page, can be very expensive. But that' s trivial compared to the truly expensive accidents. An accident is defined as "an undesirable or unfortunate happening that occurs unintentionally and usually results in harm, injury, damage, or loss". Our aim is to list the top 10 most expensive accidents in the history of the world as measured in dollars. 

This includes property damage and expenses incurred related to the accident such as cleanup and industry losses. Many of these accidents involve casualties which obviously cannot be measured in dollar terms. Each life lost is priceless and is not factored into the equation. Deliberate actions such as war or terrorism and natural disasters do not qualify as accidents and therefore are not included in this list. 

# 10. Titanic - $150 Million

The sinking of the Titanic is possibly the most famous accident in the world. But it barely makes our list of top 10 most expensive. On April 15, 1912, the Titanic sank on its maiden voyage and was considered to be the most luxurious ocean liner ever built. Over 1,500 people lost their lives when the ship ran into an iceberg and sunk in frigid waters. The ship cost $7 million to build ($150 million in today ' s dollars). 

# 9. Tanker Truck vs Bridge - $358 Million 

On August 26, 2004, a car collided with a tanker truck containing 32,000 liters of fuel on the Wiehltal Bridge in Germany . The tanker crashed through the guardrail and fell 90 feet off the A4 Autobahn resulting in a huge explosion and fire which destroyed the load-bearing ability of the bridge. Temporary repairs cost $40 million and the cost to replace the bridge is estimated at $318 Million.  

# 8. MetroLink Crash - $500 Million 

On September 12, 2008, in what was one of the worst train crashes in California history, 25 people were killed when a Metrolink commuter train crashed head-on into a Union Pacific freight train in Los Angeles . It is thought that the Metrolink train may have run through a red signal while the conductor was busy text messaging. Wrongful death lawsuits are expected to cause $500 million in losses for Metrolink. 


# 7. B-2 Bomber Crash - $1.4 Billion 

Here we have our first billion dollar accident (and we ' re only #7 on the list). This B-2 stealth bomber crashed shortly after taking off from an air base in Guam on February 23, 2008. Investigators blamed distorted data in the flight control computers caused by moisture in the system. This resulted in the aircraft making a sudden nose-up move which made the B-2 stall and crash. This was 1 of only 21 ever built and was the most expensive aviation accident in history. Both pilots were able to eject to safety. 

  
# 6. Exxon Valdez - $2.5 Billion 

The Exxon Valdez oil spill was not a large one in relation to the world ' s biggest oil spills, but it was a costly one due to the remote location of Prince William Sound (accessible only by helicopter and boat). On March 24, 1989, 10.8 million gallons of oil was spilled when the ship ' s master, Joseph Hazelwood, left the controls and the ship crashed into a Reef. The cleanup cost Exxon $2.5 billion. 

# 5. Piper Alpha Oil Rig - $3.4 Billion 

The world ' s worst off-shore oil disaster. At one time, it was the world ' s single largest oil producer, spewing out 317,000 barrels of oil per day. On July 6, 1988, as part of routine maintenance, technicians removed and checked safety valves which were essential in preventing dangerous build-up of liquid gas. There were 100 identical safety valves which were checked. Unfortunately, the technicians made a mistake and forgot to replace one of them. At 10 PM that same night, a technician pressed a start button for the liquid gas pumps and the world ' s most expensive oil rig accident was set in motion. 

Within 2 hours, the 300 foot platform was engulfed in flames. It eventually collapsed, killing 167 workers and resulting in $3.4 Billion in damages. 

# 4. Challenger Explosion - $5.5 Billion 

The Space Shuttle Challenger was destroyed 73 seconds after takeoff due on January 28, 1986 due to a faulty O-ring. It failed to seal one of the joints, allowing pressurized gas to reach the outside. This in turn caused the external tank to dump its payload of liquid hydrogen causing a massive explosion. The cost of replacing the Space Shuttle was $2 billion in 1986 ($4.5 billion in today ' s dollars). The cost of investigation, problem correction, and replacement of lost equipment cost $450 million from 1986-1987 ($1 Billion in today ' s dollars). 

# 3. Prestige Oil Spill - $12 Billion 

On November 13, 2002, the Prestige oil tanker was carrying 77,000 tons of heavy fuel oil when one of its twelve tanks burst during a storm off Galicia , Spain . Fearing that the ship would sink, the captain called for help from Spanish rescue workers, expecting them to take the ship into harbour. However, pressure from local authorities forced the captain to steer the ship away from the coast. The captain tried to get help from the French and Portuguese authorities, but they too ordered the ship away from their shores. The storm eventually took its toll on the ship resulting in the tanker splitting in half and releasing 20 million gallons oil into the sea. 

According to a report by the Pontevedra Economist Board, the total cleanup cost $12 billion. 

# 2. Space Shuttle Columbia - $13 Billion 

The Space Shuttle Columbia was the first space worthy shuttle in NASA ' s orbital fleet. It was destroyed during re-entry over Texas on February 1, 2003 after a hole was punctured in one of the wings during launch 16 days earlier. The original cost of the shuttle was $2 Billion in 1978. That comes out to $6.3 Billion in today ' s dollars. $500 million was spent on the investigation, making it the costliest aircraft accident investigation in history. The search and recovery of debris cost $300 million. 

In the end, the total cost of the accident (not including replacement of the shuttle) came out to $13 Billion according to the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. 


# 1. Chernobyl - $200 Billion 

On April 26, 1986, the world witnessed the costliest accident in history. The Chernobyl disaster has been called the biggest socio-economic catastrophe in peacetime history. 50% of the area of Ukraine is in some way contaminated. Over 200,000 people had to be evacuated and resettled while 1.7 million people were directly affected by the disaster. The death toll attributed to Chernobyl , including people who died from cancer years later, is estimated at 125,000. The total costs including cleanup, resettlement, and compensation to victims has been estimated to be roughly $200 Billion. The cost of a new steel shelter for the Chernobyl nuclear plant will cost $2 billion alone. The accident was officially attributed to power plant operators who violated plant procedures and were ignorant of the safety requirements needed.

Dah 2 minggu aku tak berblog. Baru je balik from Miri menyambut kelahiran baby sulung aku. Baby yang dimaksudkan telah selamat lahir ke dunia pada 8 Disember 2008 (10 Zulhijjah 1429) pada jam 2.20 pagi di Hospital Miri, Sarawak bersamaan dengan Hari Raya Aidiladha (nak gak kuar time hari raya even sepatutnya due on 6 Dis =P). So aku beraya kat hospital je la aritu. Baby selamat dilahirkan secara normal dengan seberat 2.95 kg dan kepanjangan 50 cm (betul ke perkataan yang aku guna ni) dan kelebaran 33 cm. Kalau nak diikutkan 50 cm tu kira tinggi la (ikut papa dia kot). Baby telah diberikan nama Nur Gerradina yang diambil bersempena dengan nama ketua pasukan Liverpool, Steven Gerrard. Eh, gile hape nak letak nama camtu.Agak-agak la kan =P. Baby actually telah diberikan nama Nur Aamyra Damia Izzaty. Kalau dishortformkan jadi NADI. Nama tersebut bermaksud Puteri Yang Mempunyai Cahaya Kemerah-merahan Yang Bijaksana Serta Mempunyai Kekuatan Kemuliaan. Walaupun nama dan maksudnya panjang giler, panggil baby Myra dah la =P. Ok la nanti baru post pic baby...

Baru minggu lepas malam Jumaat saya parking kereta di parking awam. Semasa nak balik ke rumah saya terperasan ada pelekat kat cermin belakang kereta saya. Bila saya tanggalkan pelekat tu kat rumah, rupa-rupanya cuma resit pam minyak. Tak lama lepas itu saya terima maklumat ini.

Bila kita melihat cermin belakang untuk melihat kawasan belakang, kita dapati ada kertas yg melekat ditengah-tengah cermin belakang menghalang pandangan kita. Jadi kita parking balik kereta, buka pintu dan keluar untuk menanggalkan kertas (atau apa jua benda) yang menghalang penglihatan kita tadi. Bila anda sampai di bahagian belakang kereta, pada masa itulah pencuri itu akan keluar dari tempat sembunyinya, masuk ke dalam kereta dan memecut pergi. Dia mungkin akan merempuh anda dengan laju semasa mereka melarikan kereta anda. Perasan tak kaum hawa? Saya pasti beg tangan anda masih di dalam kereta. Jadi sekarang pencuri memperolehi kereta kita, alamat rumah kita, duit kita, dan kunci-kunci kita. Rumah kita dan ke semua identiti kita telah diperolehi!
